How It Is Made
Craftsmanship
Every Aurelle piece begins in our French ateliers and is finished by a jeweller who signs for it before it leaves. Nothing is mass-produced.
Materials
Aurelle works almost exclusively in premium stainless steel of jewellery grade, chosen for its hypoallergenic properties and its ability to hold a high mirror or satin polish for a lifetime. Where pieces include precious metals or stones, each inclusion is documented and authenticated by the maison.
- Jewellery-grade premium stainless steel
- Hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant
- Hand-polished and individually inspected
- Water- and daily-wear safe
The Process
- Design — concept drawings developed in the French atelier, often drawn from the maison's archive of royal commissions.
- Forming — each piece is cast or shaped in small series, never in unlimited runs.
- Hand-finishing — polishing, satin-brushing, and setting are done by hand. The marks of the hand are part of the piece.
- Inspection — every piece is individually inspected and authenticated before it is released.
- Delivery — packaged in the maison's signature box and delivered directly from the atelier to the client.
Maison Care
Every Aurelle piece is accompanied by a promise of lifetime maison care. If a piece needs repolishing, re-tightening, or restoration, return it to the maison and we will see to it. A piece of Aurelle is intended to be worn for a lifetime — and to be passed on.
